Jeremy Kroll Partner

Jeremy Kroll has been practicing as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in Ontario, Canada since obtaining his license in 2001. Prior to that he practiced as a CPA, CA in Canada and then went into the construction industry on both the financial and operational sides. He has always had an entrepreneurial side to his career and “gets” where business principals are coming from. A request in 1999 to spend 3 months helping in a consumer practice led to a deep connection with the satisfaction in guiding individuals through a challenging situation that takes account of all their needs – he sees the big picture and invests the time to find the right solution. More than 20 years after the 3-month temporary job, he is still helping people settle their debts.

Jeremy’s entrepreneurial side comes out when solutions to business problems are sought. He believes in trying to solve problems “at the kitchen table” where the parties may minimize losses and save professional fees.

Whilst Jeremy has assisted creditors in complex cases that involve multi million-dollar losses to non-institutional lenders/investors, he is just as interested in helping the “average Joe or Jane” deal with the myths and confusions about their debt, deal fairly with their creditors, legitimately keep their assets and rebuild.

“When I chose to be a professional, I chose to put the interests of the stakeholders ahead of mine. I chose to put service at the forefront. By doing the right thing I am able to make a living and I am grateful for that.”

Jeremy has succeeded at all his endeavours, Chartered Accountant, entrepreneur, in the construction and manufacturing industries and as a provider of honest and effective debt solutions.

One of his greatest satisfactions in his professional career to date is seeing the success enjoyed by individuals he brought into the profession with no history and often no references. “I connected with that human, gave them the opportunity and some encouragement. Seeing them succeeding today is incredibly rewarding”. An immigrant, a refugee, a part-time city labourer, a USA trained lawyer, an India trained CA, the list goes on. Today they are all Licensed Insolvency Trustees.
